I Was in Niagara Falls last weekend and came across this abandoned motel. Now for the life of me I can figure out what led to the demise of this beautiful abandoned motel / inn on the Niagara Parkway. According to the old sign it was called “The Inn on the Niagara Parkway” it was in an ideal location and looked fairly modern compared to some of the old run-down motels on Lundy’s Lane. It didn’t look that old maybe late 60’s or early 70’s but it has been abandoned for quite some time, I would say by the state of decay at least 10 years. It was sealed up pretty tight and I was only able to get photos of the exterior except for an interesting photo of the main lobby via a window and wow what a mess inside. The roof of the building looks to be in pretty bad shape and I can only imagine the water damage that will have taken place in the rooms. Its was quite a large complex and I would have to estimate 40 rooms. I assume this place due to its location will torn down at some point for a new hotel or attraction. Check out my photos of this old decaying motel in Niagara Falls.
